In true introductory fashion – I’m Lexie and I’m doing Push-Ups to Pin Ups! I’ve never done a blog before so please bear with me. I thought it would be great to let you in on my journey through this unique, challenging program at Aspire Fitness.
My Aspire History:
I finished my first round of P2P back in November 2016 – it was a rollercoaster of emotions, hard work and dedications but I managed to pull it off with some amazing results! I noticed a change in my attitude, confidence and body. I had initially heard about the program through a friend, but had procrastinated signing up because I was a little intimidated by the whole thing – 4 workouts a week at a gym that they know your name, eating paleo and of course the photoshoot at the end to cap it all off! Little did I know I should have never procrastinated signing up – everyone was so welcoming and encouraging. Yes, it was tough, especially since I was so out of shape when I had started the program but I did it! I’ll say that again – I did it! I not only felt strong, had muscle definition but I was a much happier person. I can honestly say the program and guidance has helped me make better eating habits and choices. I may not be perfect but I’m a lot more conscious about the choices I make. I also continued with the CustomFit program at Aspire – going to the gym 2X/week due to my work and life schedule. I’ve come to the point where I’d like to challenge myself once again, trim some fat and gain some muscle – who doesn’t want to be in good shape for summer?!
Why blog? Before I signed up for my first round, I would have liked to have known a bit more of what I would be going through with the P2P Program. I was intimidated and nervous, as I’m sure I’m not the only one. I’m hoping by letting you in on my journey (or rollercoaster), you can get a glimpse of how rewarding and challenging this program is – because that’s exactly what it is.
Follow me on my journey, and you may just sign up for yours!
