We are the Faculty of Medicine graduating class of 2014, and we are participating in the Aspire Fitness Boot Camp Fundraiser to raise money for our graduation and whip ourselves into shape! With graduation coming up in May, we want to celebrate the completion of four years of medical school, and show our appreciation for the people who have been a source of support for us during our education. We are planning two events: the first is a brunch for graduates and faculty who have been influential in our learning, and the second is a formal evening of dinner and dancing for graduates, loved ones, and members of the faculty. As a class we are responsible for all of the fundraising for these events, and the Aspire Fitness Bootcamp is a great way to raise funds for our graduation festivities while also getting us in shape!
March 31st – April 24th (M/T/Th @ 2pm) all workouts are done at Garbage Hill
For a registration fee of $150, each participant receives 12 sessions (3 per week for 4 sequential weeks) of intense training combing running, interval training, and many other exercises using weights and/or body weight. The goal is to lose body fat, increase cardiovascular efficiency, increase strength, and help people get into a routine of regular exercise.
