So you want to do a Tough Mudder? Good on ya! The Tough Mudder Challenge is a killer, it will take you through over 25 obstacles over the course of 10-12 miles. It will kick the crap out of you. Regardless of being void of crap, you will cross the finish line with the biggest smile of your life.
We will be putting a team together to prepare for Tough Mudder Miama, Fl Feb 16, 2013. Don’t worry if you just want to come and train with us you can do that to. But I promise you will wish you had come with us once you see how much fun we have.
We will have 3 phases of training for the Tough Mudder Bootcamp, Phase 1 starts Sept 3rd, 2012 and runs for 6 weeks (Oct 11). Workouts will be Monday/Tuesday and Thursdays at 730p @ Aspire Fitness. On top of the three workouts done here you will also be required to do homework on Saturdays. Commiting to Phase 1 doesn’t mean you’re stuck with us till the end of phase 3, but if you don’t think you’re looking to finish the whole bootcamp please let us know sooner than later, so that we can open the spot up to others who might be interested.
The phases aren’t just based on your ability, you can come in green to the world of adventure racing or a seasoned vetern, they are based on the skills we need to learn prior to racing. You will be asked to push yourself to your max not the max of the people training beside you. If you train hard you will accomplish the Tough Mudder.
Phase 2 starts – Oct 15th (6 weeks)
Phase 3 starts – Nov 26th (10 weeks)
- Traveling Member – $10/workout (plus fee and GST)
- Traveling Student – $8.33/workout (plus fee and GST)
