Alternating Leg DB Deadlifts


Here’s one that is great for core, glutes and hamstrings while engaging the erector muscles in the back. With fall upon us, it’s time to start wearing pants, this exercise ensures that you look great in those new jeans. Start with your feet outside shoulder width with two dumbbells in hand (start light, this exercise is higher than normal risk), now lower yourself to one side bring the dumbbells to either side of your foot. Now come back up to centre and repeat on the other side. You should feel this in your glutes and hamstrings initially and as your progress if you feel your back starting to get overly tight stop and take a rest. SAFETY FIRST with this one.
