Tryouts are just around the corner, which means time to knock off the summer rust and get the body ready for a great season. Our XACT High Performance Program was so successful over the summer we’ve been asked to extend it into the season.
We will be using a different format than we did with the summer program to accommodate tryout schedules and the back to school rush. Instead of having set times, athletes will be able to book in anytime during our regular hours (5:15am – 11:30a & 3:30p – 8:00p). The program is 3x/week up to 4-weeks starting August 22nd till September 16th. This program is designed to push you to the limits so you can than push yourself to the limits on the ice. An athlete’s success starts off the ice!
The Pre-season Power Play conditioning will follow the same core principles as our off-season XACT program. We will build on strength and power, linear speed and change of direction. We do so by using time tested techniques and pushing our athletes to the breaking point.
