One of the greatest exercises of all time, the deadlift! When done properly is a glute and hamstring killer. You want to rock that tight pair of jeans, do deadlifts. Start with your feet shoulder width apart and toes pointed straight ahead. With a slight bend in your knees lower the weights down to the ground, while keeping your back flat. You will find that you naturally stick your butt out, that’s perfect. Now from the bottom position “drive” your hips forward and lift the weights back to the starting position. Be sure to lift with your hips and not your back. The best analogy I ever heard for deadlifts was that somebody had a rope tied to your belt and they were pulling you forward, this is the same motion for a deadlift.
