The 5am Autumn Wake Up Oats



  • 1/4 cup steelcut oats
  • 1/2 a ripe banana
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla whey powder
  • 4 scrambled and chopped eggwhites
  • 1 tbsp whole flax seeds
  • 1/2 green apple, diced finely
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • A sprinkle of dried cranberries to top
  • Cinnamon, nutmeg to season as you see fit


Cook the oats in water,
Scramble and cook the eggwhites

Meanwhile -mash the banana, with the whey, dice the apple and mix well with the peanut butter

Add the oats and all the other ingrediates together (save the cranberries to top the bowl).

Sprinkle cranberries on top and enjoy a HEARTY and tasty Autumn oats 🙂

These get me out of bed in those chilly mornings when you hate that thought.

Tips & Bonus Information

I don’t check calorie counts – I just know when a meal is macronutrient-complete: This one has over 20 grams of protein, it has adequate carbs (oats + fruit), fiber, and good fats! Good to go 😉
