Resolution #3 – Choose smaller portion sizes

-Ramadan-The holiday season is notorious for over eating, so lets start 2009 by repenting for our gluttonous sins. Choosing smaller portion sizes will help with your calories balance as well as not leave you with the over eating pains.
If we cut our portion sizes down by one quarter we could get our calorie intake to what is normal for the average person. For example a 25 year old male who is 5’6”, 150lbs and is moderately active 1-3 times a week should consume 2200. But is probably close to 3000 calories. This 800 calories difference adds up, if he were to maintain his activity level he would have consumed 4200 calories less per week this is over 1lb of weight loss just by choosing smaller portions.
